Cunard Debuts Web Video Selling Tools for Agents
Today Cunard Line introduced a new selling tool that allows travel agents to share brief web streaming videos with their clients using a customizable branded email template.
This free-for-agent marketing tool leverages the power of video to bring the Cunard experience directly to clients and cruise enthusiasts by presenting a variety of on board activities, entertainment and product features complete with guest testimonials. The first web video has been introduced today along with email technology to “share” any of the series of eight videos that are available for agents registered on www.OneSourceCruises.com.
The video series highlights the traditions of Cunard’s rich travel legacy combined with a focus on signature offerings including Cunard Insights, the Line’s award-winning enrichment programme, daytime activities, entertainment, gourmet dining and the premier ocean travel experience, Queens Grill & Princess Grill suites aboard Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and, joining the fleet in October, Queen Elizabeth.
The debut video will offer viewers a glimpse into the world of Cunard’s Royal Nights themed balls, a grand celebration at sea as guests don their formal attire, drink champagne and dance to a live orchestra in the Queens Room ballroom. Whether it’s the Black and White Ball, Ascot Ball or Masquerade Ball, viewers get a peek into the elegance, grandeur and sense of occasion that is a Cunard hallmark.
“What better way for agents to engage clients than to share a brief video that presents a taste of the Cunard experience,” said Peter Shanks, president of Cunard Line. “These videos capture guest testimonials during a Cunard voyage and offer a look into what makes our luxury cruise vacation experience truly unique.”
Other videos in the series include a feature on the first Canyon Ranch SpaClub® at sea aboard Queen Mary 2, an introduction to the Line’s famed White Star Service and an episode that introduces The Verandah, a new culinary experience aboard Queen Elizabeth created by Executive Chef and Global Culinary Ambassador Jean Marie Zimmermann. Additionally, celebrity Chef Todd English introduces guests to his first of two restaurants at sea, aboard Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.
The videos will also be featured in Cunard’s new Web Video Wednesday series that launches on 11 August on the Line’s Facebook page. More videos are already in production and will be added to the library later this year to further support agents in selling Cunard.
