Skimax is now offering South Korea

Skimax, a major ski holiday specialist, has included South Korea amongst its smorgasbord of skiing and snowboarding packages in the Northern Hemisphere.

Yongpyong is just one of an extensive  array of  ski resorts in Gangwon Province, which is about two and a half hours east of Seol, Known as “Korea’s Ski Mecca”;  it is gaining a reputation as an  internationally-renowned resort due to its well organised facilities.

The alpine resort has more then 25kms of groomed slopes, 15 chairlifts,a 3.7km gondola and a terrain park which ensures all levels of skiers and boarders are satisfied.  It is a candidate vying for the 2018 Winter Olympics and has hosted numerous events such as the Asian Games in 1999 and the Interski Congress, a world-wide body of  ski instructors, an event which showcases evolving  snowsports techniques.
