Blake’s at Zirky’s A Hotham institution, Blake’s at Zirky’s promises to provide guests with an unrivalled culinary experience.
The sophisticated menu, developed by renowned chef Andrew Blake, features a range of delectable dishes including seared sea scallops with a salad of shaved fennel, sticky pork, orange, pomegranate and oregano oil; and roast duck with porcini tortellini, celeriac puree and black pepper sauce. And the desserts are to die for!
Cilantro Restaurant & Bar Cilantro’s warm, laid back atmosphere is the perfect place to relax with friends after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Guests can enjoy one of Cilantro’s signature cocktails followed by a mouth watering selection of Mediterranean styled tapas and mezze, as well as specialties including the scrumptious paella, which is designed to be shared (but you may be reluctant to share!) Tsubo For exquisite Australian-Japanese fusion cuisine with superb service, Tsubo at Hotham offers a unique dining experience. The contemporary menu prepared by resident chef Hamish Nugent uses local produce with an Asian twist, complemented by a sophisticated wine list. The dining space creates a clean and elegant atmosphere perfect for enjoying delectable combinations including the infamous slow cooked lamb with miso sauce.
Graze Restaurant at Rundells Regarded as one of the best restaurants on the Great Alpine Road, Graze Restaurant at Rundells Alpine Lodge offers beautiful, hearty fare and large open fireplaces.
Mountain Kitchen Foodies celebrate! The dinner offerings at Graze are particularly appetising thanks to the six-course regional degustation menu available seven nights a week throughout winter. New head chef Troy Murphy recently joined Graze from Hepburn Springs, where he was Executive Chef at the Grange Bellinzona Group. A word of advice: watch for some potential master classes at Graze in the months to come!
Fresh, delicious, home style gourmet food is now available seven days a week thanks to the brand new Mountain Kitchen at Dinner Plain.
Officially opened on Queen’s Birthday Weekend in the newly constructed Castran Corner development, Mountain Kitchen offers a menu of hearty items such as soups, casseroles, pies, parcels and slices, all made daily in the open plan kitchen. The adjoining pantry and deli provide a selection of take home items from regional and Victorian suppliers such as King Valley Fine Foods, EV Olives, Gunnadoo Berries and Luv a Duck.
Additionally, Mountain Kitchen is fully licensed so visitors can sip on a locally produced wine or cleansing beer with their meal. Gather around the ‘cauldron’ fireplace to enjoy afternoon après in the alpine area.
White Room The newly revamped White Room at Hotham is the perfect place to grab a drink after a day on the slopes. Relax with a beer or a famous White Room cocktail whilst tucking into contemporary Spanish tapas or the beautiful a la carte menu.
Chef Pablo De Pasquale has brought his passion for Spain to the table, with a delectable tapas menu featuring Harrietville smoked trout croqueta, black Angus albóndigas and sautéed green prawns. New Manager, Dominic Gentile, formerly of EQ at the Arts Centre and Snow Pony, Mt Buller ensures the service matches the fine food on offer.
